What can I expect from a massage? 
There are many cumulative benefits for the mind and body from massages that depend on one’s needs. You will have the opportunity to work with your massage therapist to customize a plan to meet your health and wellness goals.

Is there anything I need to do to prepare for my session? 
It helps to be well hydrated, so be sure to drink plenty of fluids the day of your massage. When you get to the spa, you will be given a form to fill out. This form will allow you to communicate any health conditions that you may have, as well as any specific areas you want focused on during your session.

What happens during a session?  
Prior to your massage, the massage therapist will leave the room to provide you with privacy to remove clothing to your level of comfort. You’ll get on the massage table, where you will lay underneath the sheet and blankets. The sheet will cover your body except for the part being massaged. Light, relaxing music will be played in the background. Your massage therapist should check in with you about your pressure preferences and comfort throughout your appointment. If at any point the pressure is not what you want, tell your massage therapist. Afterwards, your massage therapist will leave the room for you to slowly get up and get dressed in privacy.

Is it OK to talk during my session?  
Whether or not you prefer talking during your session is completely up to you! This is your time. The massage therapist will occasionally ask a few questions, pertaining to your comfort level, and how you are feeling. We have learned that some people relax by talking while others prefer to have their massage in silence. Often times, people will start out talking, then "drift away” as the massage proceeds. Whatever helps you to relax the most is best.

How often should I get a massage?  
People may have different needs depending on the state of their bodies. However, for general wellness we recommend aiming for at least once per month. This allows individuals with generally good health to build upon their last appointments without having to start over. This will ensure that you are able to receive all of the health benefits that massages provide. A few of our clients come in once a week, most of them come in every other week, some every 3 weeks, and some once a month. All of them recognize the importance of self-care, and the health benefits that they enjoy from receiving massage on a regular basis.

I’m going to be late for my appointment!  
Please call to inform us that you are running late so that we know that you are still coming and can assess if we will still be able to provide the service for the length of time that you requested. Sometimes it is possible, however other times there may be a massage booked directly after yours which may require the length of your service to be shortened.

How do I change my appointment?  
If it is more than 24 hours ahead of time, you can simply change the appointment by calling us without being charged a cancellation fee, and re-book for another available time slot. It is less likely to be able to change appointments with short-notice, so try to call us as soon as you know the appointment needs to be changed.

What happens if I don’t show up for my appointment?  
Not showing up to an appointment causes our massage therapists to lose time that they may have used to provide services to other clients. For this reason, we have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you do not show up, unfortunately we will have to charge the card on file for the missed service.

What is your cancellation policy?  
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel an appointment less than 24 hours in advance, unfortunately we will have to charge the card on file for the missed service. This policy is in place because cancelling an appointment with such short notice prevents us from being able to use that time to service other clients.

How do I change my massage preferences?  
Prior to your massage, you will be given a small form where you can update your massage therapist about any new needs that may have come up, as well as pressure preferences.

How do I cancel an appointment?

How do I book with a specific Therapist? 
If you are using our online booking system, you can select a specific massage therapist to see their availability and book with them. If you are booking over the phone, just let our receptionist know your preference and they will help to find a time that your schedule aligns with the preferred massage therapist.

I’m pregnant, can I get a massage? 
Yes! We have massage therapists that are certified to give prenatal massages.

Do you offer couples massages? 
Yes! We have a couples massage room with two individual massage tables where you can receive a massage alongside your significant other.

I’m a minor (under the age of 18), is there anything special I need to do? 
Yes. If you are 16 years of age or older, you can still receive our services. We have a minor release form that a guardian needs to sign. Our policy also requires the guardian to stay at the salon while you are receiving your massage.

What if I want a longer massage than 110 minutes? 
Unfortunately, we only offer massages for a maximum of 110 minutes. This policy allows our massage therapists to rest after a lengthy session. An option may be for you to book two consecutive appointments with different massage therapists.

What are my massage options? 
We offer a variety of massages, and often have some on promotion! You can find the descriptions and prices for each massage by clicking on the “SERVICES” tab at the top of this page.

If I want to book an appointment for a friend or family member, how do I do that? 
Give us a call and we can set this up for you! We can book the appointment either under your name/number or theirs, and will put a note on the appointment that it was booked by you for a friend/family member. We will need to hold your card on file in order to secure the appointment.

Can I book an appointment over the phone? 
Yes! Give us a call at (312) 643-2900 and one of our receptionists will assist you with scheduling your massage.

Do you take walk-ins? 
Yes! We do take walk-ins if we have a massage therapist available. However, it is best to book your appointment in advance to ensure that we will have that time-slot available for you.

Are massages covered by insurance? 
This depends on your insurance provider’s policy. We do not partner with insurance companies to process payments through insurance. However, if your insurance reimburses you for massages, we can provide you with an invoice that documents your massage!

I have a gift card, how do I use it? 
Bring the gift card in with you to your appointment. When it comes time to pay, hand the gift card to the receptionist and they will redeem the gift card and apply the gift card amount to the total price of your massage.

I have a promo code, how do I use it? 
To apply a promo code, you must book your appointment online. When it comes time to enter your credit card information, there will be a section on the right of the screen where you can enter and apply your promo code.

How do I leave a tip? 
If you are leaving a cash tip, you have the option of leaving it with your massage therapist or with our receptionist. You can also leave a tip on the card you that are paying with by entering it on the card reader or telling our receptionist how much you would like to add.

Can I pay with cash? 
Yes! Our receptionist will take care of your payment at the front desk.

How much does a massage cost?

How much clothing should I remove? 
You can undress to the level of your comfort. Many clients dress down to their underwear, but this is completely up to you! Regardless of what you decide, private areas will always be covered by a sheet while the massage therapist is in the room.

Do you offer facials?
